So, you’ve probably heard of Prime Bites Protein Brownies by now. If not, you’ve been living under a rock, so let me tell you all about them. They are small-batch brownies made in a variety of flavors with 19 grams of protein and 5 grams of collagen per serving. If you’re working on your gains and have a sweet tooth then these are a perfect addition to your macros or protein goals. There are tons of videos on TikTok promoting these brownies saying how delicious they are. I’m a skeptic so I had to buy them and try them out for myself. First Bite
So, the variety pack came with 2 Chocolate Glazed Donut, 2 Glazed Cinnamon Roll, 2 Birthday Cake, 2 Peanut Butter Candy Crunch, 1 Chocolate Cookie Monster, 1 Cookie Dough Bites, 1 Blueberry Cobbler, and 1 Cookies and Cream Blondie. The first brownie I tried was Peanut Butter Candy Crunch and right away I was surprised about how good it tasted. They are sweet but not overly sweet, moist, chewy, and overall have a good taste that you normally don’t expect from protein products. I’ve eaten all the flavors offered and I can say hands down the Cookie Dough Bites is my favorite and I will probably end up buying a box of just that flavor soon. My second favorite was Chocolate Cookie Monster, it would end up that my two favorites only had one in the variety box. The Glazed Cinnamon Roll was close to being second, but it was lacking that cinnamon roll flavor in my opinion. Maybe some additional cinnamon would have made it better. My third favorite was Peanut Butter Candy Crunch, it’s pretty good and tastes like a peanut butter cookie with peanut butter candies inside. I did not enjoy Birthday Cake and Blueberry Cobbler, they weren’t nasty, but the flavor was a little too artificial tasting for my liking.
Final Thoughts
I can honestly say I was surprised by how tasty these were. I’ve eaten lots of protein bars that I’ve had to gag down, but these are enjoyable to eat. I usually eat them for dessert or a snack to meet those protein goals for the day. If you’re not ready to purchase the variety pack, the Vitamine Shoppe sells these also for you to try. Overall I’d give Prime Bites Protein Brownies a 4/5 stars.
